During Staff Appreciation Week, along with breakfasts and lunches and special treats, we annually have a staff competition. This year, we are challenging our staff to identify "Where in the World is the OPS Staff?" All week, different photos will be posted on the OPS website live feed. Feel free to guess along! OPS has always been about the balance between embracing tradition and trying new experiences. One new field trip this year was our first grade visit to the Thielke Arobretum in Glen Rock. For the past two years, four of our teachers have spent every Wednesday night developing their skills in providing a structured, multisensory approach to literacy as they pursued graduate school credits culminating in an Orton-Gillingham (OG) Teacher Certificate. Yesterday our 6th graders headed into NYC for their final OPS field trip to the American Museum of Natural History! 🦖🌎✨ They explored space, history, geology, and took on a scavenger hunt through the museum.
