FIELD DAY TEAMS: Field Day for students in grades K–5 will take place on October 1st. Teachers will contact families by the end of the day on Monday with each child’s assigned Field Day team. The PTA will also be selling Field Day maroon and gold gear this week so students can show their Panther Pride!

BACK-TO-SCHOOL NIGHT: Go HERE for the most up-to-date Back-to-School Night schedule. Please note that special area teachers, the school nurse, and counselors will be available one night only. If you would like to visit them, please plan accordingly. All families are asked to enter through the Main Entrance on Prospect Avenue.

PTA PIZZA, ICE CREAM & COOKIE ORDERING: PTA lunch ordering is now open at oradellpta.org. Families can order pizza and/or Carson’s Cookies for Wednesdays, as well as monthly ice cream. Ordering will remain open until September 19th. Service begins in October and runs through January. Please note that once ordering closes for the first half of the year, no additional orders can be added.

REPORTING ATTENDANCE: Families are required to report student absences. If we do not receive notification, the school nurse will reach out to confirm the absence. There are two ways to report a student absent.

Login to the Parent Portal and click Daily Attendance. For detailed directions on reporting an absence via the Parent Portal, go HERE.
Call the OPS Attendance Phone Line at 201-261-1180 and press “1”.

DID YOU KNOW? OPS now has an app that lets you take the school website on the go! With the app, you can record attendance, access important documents, and view school calendars right from your phone. Simply go to your app store and search Oradell PS to download.
