MARCH INTO READING: This is the last week for students to bring their March Into Reading BINGO boards to the main office for prizes. Our March Into Reading “Camp-In” Celebration is also happening this week! Join us at 7:00 PM in the OPS Auditorium for a cozy, quiet evening of reading. Students are welcome to bring stuffies and wear pajamas. Please RSVP HERE.

SAVE THE DATES: Spring brings exciting activities, opportunities for family learning, and planning ahead for summer. Please mark your calendars:

• March 31 at 7:00 PM: March Into Reading Camp-In - The OPS auditorium will be transformed into a cozy campsite to celebrate the end of our March Into Reading month. Teachers, families, and administrators come together for an hour of reading. Bring your favorite stuffy and blankets—yes, adults read too! Information to sign up your family can be found HERE.

• April 15 at 7:00 PM: Unlocking Amplify Desmos Math: Parent Academy - Families are invited to explore how your child is learning math. Additional information and sign-up details will be shared soon.

• April 28 at 7:30 PM: PTA Meeting - The Principal’s Report will include information about class placement.

• April 29: NJSLA Testing Begins

• Spring into April: Bedtime Panther Tales - Families are invited to join OPS staff for a virtual read-aloud series. Dates to be announced.

• 6th Grade Field Day May 20 with NEW raindate May 26

• May 14 at 7:00 PM: Grade 4 Chorus and Band Concert, Auditorium

• May 21 at 7:00 PM: Grade 5/6 Handbells, Chorus, and Band Concert, Auditorium

• June 22 – July 17 Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–12:00 PM: Shaffer Summer Explorations Program & Kindercamp - Information and registration coming soon!

KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION: Kindergarten registration for the 2026-27 school year is open for students who turn five years old by October 1, 2026. Registration information can be found on the front page of the OPS Website: https://www.oradellschool.org/.
