Today was a full day of learning and preparing for the year ahead. Thank you to the PTA for starting us off with breakfast and the OEA for feeding us lunch. As we prepare to welcome staff back tomorrow, the reason we are ready to open is because of these five individuals. They interviewed, hired and provided orientation to new staff, worked on operational changes, updated curriculum, and when they thought they would have a day to rest . . . they found themselves painting panther paws to help our new kindergartners find their way around the school. #PantherPride #LoveOurOPSFamily #Grateful #Wasn'tInTheInterview

There was so much to love about our May Board of Education meeting where we recognized retiring staff members, staff members reaching OPS anniversary milestones and our 2025 Educator of the Year. Students came to the podium to share stories about their teachers. Former OPS teachers returned to join in the celebration. Families of our staff members were able to be part of our OPS family for the night.
