It is one of our favorite nights of the year - when we come together to recognize staff members for their OPS anniversaries, acknowledge our teacher of the year and celebrate staff retirements. #LoveOurOPSFamily #PantherPride

Some of our 6th grade band students were honored to be selected to participate in the New Jersey School Music Association on Saturday! 🎶 They spent the day rehearsing and performing alongside student musicians from across the region and represented OPS with pride. While they loved the music, the experience, and the opportunity, there was one unanimous review from the group… waking up early on a Saturday to drive all the way to Mount Olive was a stretch. 😂🎺🥁

I hope while our 4th grade team is traveling they remember to kiss the special stone inside that castle which legend says will give them the "gift of gab." Do you know what "gab" is? Look it up and see if you would want to kiss the stone! #LoveOurOPSStaff #WhereInTheWorld #OPSFamilyFun

April is National Poetry Month, and each year, the Oradell Public Library runs a young poet's competition during the month. We were excited to be able to attend the celebration for the winners tonight and to hear these talented students read their poems. @oradellpubliclibrary #PantherPride #PowerOfWords #StudentPoets

Our first grade team traveled to one of Ms. Bozios' favorite states to take this photo. It is also the home to the Badlands National Park which is very beautiful. Do you know where in the world they are? #LoveOurOPSStaff #WhereInTheWorld #OPSFamilyFun

In this afternoon's edition of "Where in the World is the OPS Staff?" it it time for our third grade team to do some traveling. It was probably reading all those myths that convinced them to visit and learn more about this ancient destination. #LoveOurOPSStaff #WhereInTheWorld #OPSFamilyFun

Our Intervention Team definitely deserves a break, and this location would make a great vacation. In fact, in 1985, this exact location created a very famous movie line. Need a hint: "Hey look kids, there's ______ and there's ________!" #LoveOurOPSStaff #WhereInTheWorld #OPSFamilyFun

It's time for our school counselors to travel to new lands in our "Where in the World is the OPS Staff?" challenge. Did you know that if we put all the OPS kindergarten, first grade and second grade students one on top of each other, they might just reach the top of this structure that is 1000 feet tall. #LoveOurOPSStaff #WhereInTheWorld #OPSFamilyFun

After a thrilling season, Georgia battled hard against Rutgers in the 2025–2026 HoOPS final. Both teams showed teamwork and determination, with nonstop full-court action. In the end, Rutgers took the win, while Georgia showed true sportsmanship and team spirit. Thank you to coaches Mr. Kelly and Mrs. Maiella, our parent and referee volunteers, and Dr. Roth and Ms. Cummings for officiating the final games. It was a memorable season!

In today's "Where in the World is the OPS Staff?" challenge, it is our fifth grade team's turn. Ms. Malenda would probably enjoy a jog over this 1.7 mile long bridge. #LoveOurOPSStaff #WhereInTheWorld #OPSFamilyFun

Continuing with our "Where in the World is the OPS Staff?" challenge, it is our second grade team's turn. Knowing how much they love studying this topic, I'm sure they are gathering more information for future lessons on their travels. #LoveOurOPSStaff #WhereInTheWorld #OPSFamilyFun

During Staff Appreciation Week, along with breakfasts and lunches and special treats, we annually have a staff competition. This year, we are challenging our staff to identify "Where in the World is the OPS Staff?" All week, different photos will be posted on the OPS website live feed. Feel free to guess along! We are starting it out with our music team in a location we are sure they would LOVE to go on a field trip! #LoveOurOPSStaff #WhereInTheWorld #OPSFamilyFun

OPS has always been about the balance between embracing tradition and trying new experiences. One new field trip this year was our first grade visit to the Thielke Arobretum in Glen Rock. It provided a wonderful opportunity to explore the outdoors and make connections to classroom science learning. #HandsOnLearning #ScienceRocks #FirstGradeFun @ThielkeArboretum

Volunteer activities are part of the 6th grade experience each year. These events provide students an opportunity to give back to the school, people and community that have given to them over their seven years at OPS. Today, they worked to spruce up the town. #PantherPride #BigSchoolBigHeart #6thGradeGiveBack

For the past two years, four of our teachers have spent every Wednesday night developing their skills in providing a structured, multisensory approach to literacy as they pursued graduate school credits culminating in an Orton-Gillingham (OG) Teacher Certificate. It was a LOT of work, and we are so proud of them! #LifeLongLearners #PantherPride #LoveOurOPSFamily

Sunday Spotlight ✨Shining a light on last weekend’s 6th Grade Spring Fling! Under the New York City Lights theme, students danced, laughed, and celebrated together all night long. Such a fun way to make memories as they head into their final weeks at OPS! Thanks to the 6th-Grade Parents for helping to create a wonderful memory for the students.

It was truly a singular sensation!!! It was amazing seeing so many former students shine both on stage and behind stage. There are two performances left this weekend, and we highly recommend getting yourself a ticket. @rdhs_drama #OnceAPantherAlwaysAPanther #PantherPride #ArtsMatter

Today was extra special at OPS as our staff brought their children in for Take Your Child to Work Day 🐾💛. We loved welcoming our honorary Panthers and seeing some of our Panther alumni back in the building. There’s nothing better than sharing our school community with the people we love most.
