Return of Panther Pride: Our Path, Our OPS
Monday: A Day
COUNSELORS’ CORNER: May, How We've Grown! Spring is a natural time of growth, and the end of the school year is a natural time for reflection. This month, students are reflecting on their growth with May, How We've Grown! On these slides (which you can use at home!), students are prompted to reflect on how they have changed or the progress they've made toward a goal since September. Research shows that emphasizing progress over completion has the following benefits:
builds confidence
fosters encouragement
renews commitment
fortifies grit (for this and future endeavors)
So please join us and take some time to reflect on how your student(s) has grown since September. Sharing what you've observed with your child is sure to fill you BOTH with pride!
LOST & FOUND: Is your child missing a hoodie, water bottle, or that one glove that’s definitely not hiding under the bed? Our Lost & Found is brimming with treasures looking for their owners! Located in the MPR, parents can access it by signing in at the Main Office with a driver’s license during the school day. After-school browsing is available Monday–Thursday from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. and Friday from 3:00 to 3:30 p.m. Please claim items soon—unclaimed belongings will be packed for donation in June. Thanks for helping lost things find their way home!
