Return of Panther Pride: Our Path, Our OPS

Monday: E Day

PERSONAL TOYS: We are asking for your support with an issue that has been growing in school. The trading and selling of toys, especially squishies and dumplings, has become a distraction during class as well as lunch/recess. Students who bring squishies to school do so at their own risk, and they will be asked to keep them in their backpacks. If students are looking for activities to do at recess, we encourage them to bring items such as jump ropes, balls, travel games, or cards. Thank you for your support in helping us keep the focus on learning and positive play.

2026-27 CLASS PLACEMENT: Class placement for the 2026–2027 school year has begun. Families are encouraged to review the letter HERE, which contains important information about the placement process and next year’s grade level teachers. Families who would like to provide information relevant to their child’s placement may complete the optional form linked in the letter. All form responses must be submitted by May 15, 2026, in order to be considered as part of the placement process.

NJSLA CONTINUES THIS WEEK: A reminder that NJSLA testing continues this week for Grade 5 and begins for Grade 6. Please help your child get a good night’s sleep and eat breakfast before coming to school, as snack will be held after testing each day.

SCHAEFER SUMMER EXPLORATIONS PROGRAM: The Oradell Public School District is excited to offer the Schaefer Explorations Summer Enrichment Program, including KinderCamp. This voluntary program runs weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 PM, beginning Monday, June 22 and ending Friday, July 17 (closed July 3).
