Return of Panther Pride: Our Path, Our OPS

Monday: E Day

CHOIR: Students in grades 4-6 are invited to join our OPS Choirs. If your child is interested, please fill out the form below. Chorus is held during recess once per week. More info is included on the form HERE.

PERSONAL ITEMS AT SCHOOL: If your child brings an individual item or toy into school, it may be used only at recess and at the student’s own risk (OPS cannot be responsible for loss or damage). Also, during normal packing/unpacking routines, there is no guarantee that items attached to backpacks won’t fall off or be handled by others.

AMPLIFY DESMOS MATH: Amplify Desmos Math is a problem-based math program that builds conceptual understanding through discussion, visual models, and real-world problem solving. OPS launched Amplify Desmos in grades 4–5 last year and is now beginning in grades K–3. Our K–3 teachers completed training this past week, and over the coming months, families will be invited to grade-level information sessions. The Caregiver Hub is a great resource for learning about the program and finding ways to support your child at home. Click HERE  for unit overviews and lesson-by-lesson tips.
