Ms. Jennifer Powers
Sixteen years ago, I was lucky enough to become a member of the faculty at Oradell Public School. I felt fortunate because I too was once a student here at OPS. I started my first year as a fourth grade teacher, and was lucky enough to move up with some of my students the following year. Since then, I have been working in fifth grade at OPS. This year, my fifth graders will grow as mathematicians, scientists, historians, and community members. I think of my fifth grade classroom as a school family. I stress the importance of treating others as they would want to be treated. I look forward to a wonderful year; watching these students grow in yet another grade level. My favorite moment is the look on a student's face when something clicks and they "get it". I look forward to an academically challenging upcoming year for my students. I consider myself lucky to be a part of the OPS community!
