Mrs. Christine Wood

I began teaching in 2001 in Teaneck, NJ at a school for students with learning disabilities.  I have been a part of the Oradell School Community  as a special education teacher since 2009.

For the 2023-24 school year, I will teaching 5th grade ELA in the resource center and 2nd grade ELA ICS.  In addition, I will also be instructing students in small groups in reading and spelling utilizing a multisensory instruction approach. (MSI) I am a certified Wilson Reading System instructor and have been successfully using the program for over 20 years. I am trained in a multitude of other MSI programs including, LiPS, Visualizing and Verbalizing,  and Project Read programs. 

I feel lucky that I am part of such a wonderful, caring school community with amazing students, parents, faculty, and administration!
