It is a pleasure to teach your children ESL at Oradell Public School.  The ESL program is designed to help students become proficient at speaking, listening, reading, and writing in English. Read, Read, Read

Please read aloud to your children as much as possible.  Read in any language, it does not have to be in English.  Talk about the characters or other story elements in fictional books, or the information described in nonfictional books.   If your children are reading books independently, ask questions about their reading and encourage them to talk about their books with you.  Children benefit in so many ways by hearing stories read aloud, and by reading and discussing new information from books.
