Mrs. Michelle Hawley

Mrs. Hawley has been an educator since 1996, teaching kindergarten through fifth grade before transitioning to instructional leadership. She began her career in Bucks County, PA, before moving to New Jersey and joining Cedar Grove Public Schools in 1997. In 2007, she became an educational consultant for IDE Corp., focusing on student-centered, differentiated instruction. She then spent seven years in Summit Public Schools as an instructional facilitator, supporting elementary teachers in math, science, and social studies. She joined Oradell Public School in 2017 as assistant principal for grades 4-6 and became the Proud Panther Principal in 2021. She holds a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Kutztown University, a master’s in the art of teaching from Marygrove College, and an administrative certification from Montclair State University. Mrs. Hawley lives in West Orange with her family, listens to audiobooks on her commute, loves Broadway and Disney, and shares her home with two lovable dogs who believe dog hair is the ultimate accessory.

Mrs. Brancato has over 15 years of classroom experience in elementary and middle school. After leaving the classroom, she worked as an elementary literacy coach and then as director of curriculum and instruction in a charter school, where she was responsible for organizing and facilitating professional development for teachers in the areas of literacy and social emotional development, as well as supporting teachers in the implementation of best practice in instruction across all subject areas. She joined OPS as a supervisor of language arts and social studies and then moved into the role of director of curriculum and instruction. She remained in that position for five years until becoming the K-3 Assistant Principal in the fall of 2024. Mrs. Brancato received her bachelor's degree in psychology and education from Rutgers University and her master's degree in educational leadership from Montclair State University.
Mr. Nevin Werner

Mr. Werner is an experienced teacher and leader with over 15 years of experience in education. He holds a master's degree in curriculum and learning from William Paterson University with a concentration in teaching children mathematics. He has also earned NJEXCEL certification in educational leadership. With expertise in STEAM education, data analysis, and program development, Mr. Werner has spearheaded several key initiatives, including revising gifted and talented programs, aligning NJTSS, securing competitive grants, and overseeing district-wide assessments. He has served on state committees focused on the NJSLA and county committees dedicated to enhancing math instruction. Mr. Werner is committed to fostering academic excellence and innovation in a positive learning environment and believes that all students can succeed with the right support.
Dr. Dave Roth

Dr. Roth has more than 20 years of experience working in New Jersey public schools. He earned his bachelor's degree at American University, his doctoral degree in clinical and school psychology from Hofstra University, and his supervisor's certification from Rowan University. Prior to becoming a supervisor of special services, he was a school psychologist for over 15 years. Dr. Roth oversees the special education programming at Oradell Public School, the Child Study Team, and the related service providers. He is committed to working collaboratively with parents and students to ensure our students grow and thrive while at OPS. In his free time, Dr. Roth's hobbies include playing, watching and coaching sports, listening to and playing music, reading, and writing.

With over 25 years of experience in education, Ms. Cummings is committed to providing exceptional instruction to all learners. Her career has included roles as an elementary teacher for grades 2-4 and a middle school math teacher, where she fostered a passion for learning in diverse classrooms. She also served as an instructional mathematics coach, supporting educators in enhancing their teaching practices. Most recently, she was an assistant principal at a charter school, where she worked to create a nurturing and inclusive environment for students and staff. Ms. Cummings holds a bachelor's degree in applied mathematics from Montclair State University and two master's degrees—one in elementary reading and literacy from Walden University, and another in school administration from Rowan University. In her spare time, Ms. Cummings is an avid bowler and sports fan, and she actively participates in community service.
