Bienvenidos to the World of Spanish

Cultural Objectives:

All grades will participate in the cultural study of Day of the Dead celebration.

Communication Objectives:

• Second grade will be able to count from zero to thirty, classify objects by color and shape as well as learn body parts.

• Fourth grade will be able to count from zero to one hundred, tell time, identify seasons and describe weather conditions.
• Sixth grade will be able to express a variety of greetings and pleasantries, identify and use Spanish words associated with Day of the Dead.
