Dear Parents/Guardians,

I am delighted to be serving as your Interim Superintendent. As an experienced School Administrator in Bergen County, I have always heard positive comments about the Oradell community and its schools. I am now looking forward to my opportunity to contribute to the high quality educational programs in OPS. I have observed our students in their classes, in the hallways, and while they performed so capably in the school play. I've been very impressed with their school spirit and their academic work. The outstanding staff and the students have been very welcoming and I know that we will all work together diligently to continue to achieve educational excellence.

One of the primary objectives of the Board of Education is to appoint a new Chief School Administrator. We have already begun the search and will start conducting interviews during the last week in April. The Board is very interested in getting your input during this selection process. Specifically, we would value your thoughts concerning the personal and professional traits and characteristics that you believe are desirable for the person who will occupy this position. We would also appreciate your suggestions for questions that you would like the Board to ask the candidates during the several rounds of interviews. You can provide this information by either attending the Board of Education meeting on April 18, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. in the school's Instructional Media Center or you can send me an e-mail (feifer@oradellschool.org) with your thoughts. Either way, we value and appreciate your help. I will be seeking similar input, on behalf of the Board, from staff members at an upcoming Faculty Meeting.
